Firstly, I must say sorry for not commenting for a few days but I hope to catch up soon. I got side tracked with this song which by my standards took an absolute lifetime. Every city has it's down and outs who live in cardboard boxes and I've sometimes wondered whether, if they had the choice to join society (as we know it) would they, or would they choose the freedom of their lifestyle. Anyway I hope you enjoy.   Roscoe

All I see is what I know
Al I know is what I touch
All I want is a helping hand
Is that asking too much.

Can't you see my willing heart
Lift me up so you can see

I gave you everything
And now the shell is left behind
One more box on a city street
One more stranger left behind

Can't you see my willing heart
Lift me up so you can see

All I want is endless sleep
All I need is somewhere warm
You pass me by like I don't exist
Without ever asking  why.

Your soundscapes are awesome - this is an excellent example of your style - love the lead tone and the ringing of the accompanying guitars is fantastic. Sounds like a very expensive studio.

Great song - vox and lyrics fit right in with the music.

Amen to that…

Loved the sparkly guitars and that lead - they make a perfect accompaniment for your storytelling, Roscoe.

Thank you for your kind comments. It  wasn't an expensive studio but my third bedroom and a BR900 which since my retirement /redundancy I am beginning to understand. Kind regards.  Roscoe
