These are great  :D

I bought a whole book of these. I like to use ironically bad pictures for my own album covers. There's even one that features two 'people' in your selection....

Hysterical! I always thought the Boxer album cover for "Below the Belt" from the 70s was one of the worst ever, go here for a look:

Worst in terms of appalling taste that is. Could be the inspiration for the original cover to Tap's "Smell The Glove", altho apparently informed folks say it is actually a Whitesnake album.

That's the one - didn't like to post the image myself.......

Mind you, there's not a lot of difference between that and "Country Life" by Roxy Music, although Country Life is an "art" cover. Now Country Life was one of my fave album covers wehen I was a teenager. Can't think why.....

I know what you mean. Some of those Roxy covers tread the fine line between art and porn. Especially Country Life, lol. They're all superb though - like the band itself.

Can't argue with that. Where do you think my nickname comes from  ;)

How's this for subtlety?

Gentle Giant's Acquiring the Taste.

Because it's from the prog-rock genre, is it art?  Maybe it's over my head.

Oh dear, that is pretty bad. I wasn't aware of that one even though I had a passing interest in Gentle Giant and even saw them live in about 1975. But probably shouldn't admit to having "prog" roots.

Nigel
