Thank you all for your kind words & concerns. My kid has bounced back very well, me...well I'm taking a bit longer. I took Thurs. & Fri. off but I had  gigs last night & today I couldn't get out of. Last night I walked around an outside mall playing Christmas songs for 2 1/2 hours and I was pretty beat at the end of it. I'm mostly worried about the guitar pulling on my shoulder & my lower back. During my average work day I wear the guitar for around 6-7 hours so I'm a bit concerned about next Tuesday. I'm quite uncomfortable sitting in a chair for long periods of time so I don't know what will become of recording in the car. There are a few parks on my routes (different each day of the week) that I could occupy a picnic table for an hour or 2 so we will just have to see. Thanks again my friends!

Should be getting a check today, it seems fair but it still leaves me in the 10year old studio range. That's fitting since all my recording gear is about the same age. I have my eyes on a Kia Optima, 2004 but it only has 66,000 miles on it. There is also a Saturn Vue that looks pretty nice, same year but higher mileage (111,000). I do like the sound of Optima Studios but the Vue has room for all my gear & Saturn Studios has a nice ring to it. In all seriousness I was very surprised at the Sentra and how well it ran for a 12 year old car so hopefully I'll get something equally as reliable. My back is better today & the kid seems to be close to %100.I have a chiropractor appointment later today and probably every few days after... forever!

Hook, it's great that you are getting the wreck aftermath resolved so quickly hook. Again thank goodness you and yours wasn't hurt seriously. Watch that back......in 1978 I was hit broadside by a driver that ran a red light. My wife and 2 year old son was with me. It also totaled our car but none of us were hurt seriously but I did have some minor back pain, or so I thought. The insurance paid for my car and my chiropractor visits and all seemed fine.  But the pain surfaced a couple of years later and I still suffer today from the slight back injury. So take heed and take care of your back because you'll need that back for the rest of your life.
