I think we all go a litle mad sometimes, don't we.  Roscoe

When the shadows fall
To the corner of my room
I hear that voice again
The sound of ruin

I hear the laughter start
It drives me to the edge
I hear them calling me
Closer to the ledge

I see their faces now
I hear their lies
But there's no traces found
In the morning light

They must be hiding behind those padded walls
They must be hiding where I can't see
They must be hiding behind those padded walls
They must be hiding where I can't see

I've never gone mad meself... and I don't snore neither (in case my wife's reading) :D

Like it. Loving those harmonies on the verses. And there's some gorgeous southern-rock licks going on the lead part.

Is just a piece of paper

A real good song Roscoe! I like the Southern Rock style here that is enhanced with with your cool guitar fills and solo. Something about it, maybe the flow or the lyric, is mesmerizing to me. Maybe because I'm on the bring of madness all the time :-).  Anyway I like it a lot!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

Very nice tune Roscoe - my only suggestion would be to make the vocals slightly less prominent (only a touch, not volume but a bit of compression/verb to make it sit a little back in the mix) - I started listening with the volume quite loud and almost fell of my seat when the vocals came in :) But a really pleasant listen - great sounds, and very nice solo guitar through out the song, very melodic.

Thank you guys, Bruno, perceptive as ever. I had realised that the harmony vocal was panned too far to the left and rather too loud but ran out of time to put it right. Thought I might get away with it, I should know better by now. Best regards Roscoe

I like the lyric quite a bit. The verses are simple and to the point but I'm one for the skewed perspective. This kept my interests mainly due to the cool subject and approach. Nicely written.
