"MY House" Hook covers Lou Reed

I really just love this song off Lou's '82 album The Blue Mask. Done over yesterday & today in Nissan Sentra Studios (except drums) completely on the MR8. Still trying to figure my way around it. I had some peaking issues on the on board mic track & the drums, did 3 different mixes on the MR8 then did another post mix in audacity. I think I got it to sound alright though the drums are still too loud at the end. I don't know, I think my ears are dying.

I know the feeling with dying ears - have spent all evening mixing - think its good, and then I listen next morning! The drums didn't jump out at me on the mix on this though.

The drums seem to fit pretty damn well to me. (But a mixer is never done, s/he just runs out of time.) The arrangement is killer, the ukes are perfectly selected, suited and played. You did a stellar job on the vox. Just an all around good cover.
