i am sure this will upset people who lean to the right politically. my intention is not to upset such listeners but to make them reflect and perhaps read more.

with the swing to the right, i worry that we in the "civilised world" now live in a blame culture. the easy targets, the poor, the ill, the weak, the "feckless" unemployed, the racial minorities etc etc (basically all the people Hitler hated)are perceived to be the cause of all the world's woes and are thus demonized. what worries me more is the people that fall for this perception of "their" world. hence my plea for them to read more.

There is a true reflection of what's going on in the world in this piece,the strange thing is we all know it's happening but
It's at such a level ,all angles are smothered.
