my new pc came preinstalled with asus music maker, which allows me to use loops. so using this i made up a drum track. then added some electric guitar and vocals.

his fingers too near the flame
he touched it for just too long
unflinching his hand remained
his hand remained
unwilling to see the light
the evidence must be wrong
unflinching his faith remains
his faith remains
dark times dark time
we live in dark ages
guided by ancient script
the answers all lay within
but the question remains
the question remains
to fly in the face of faith
to challenge the old with new
unflinching he stands his ground
he stands his ground
dark times dark times
we live in dark ages
he kneels in the house of god
and asks if this path is wrong
no answer comes
no answer comes
where once there was doubt now hope
where once there was faith now truth
he walks into the light
he walks into the light
dark times dark times
let's bring an end to these dark ages

Simplicity and yet nothing is missing. It works!
