I've bought 5 (GAS attack)   The American (Fender), The California (Mesa Boogie - sounds real good), The Red Box rip off (brill for bass), the ultimate drive (OCD rip off - sounds great), and the classic (Tube screamer rip off). They all seem to do what they are supposed to do, and at £30 each - appear and to my ears, be great value for money :-)

NB they work real well through an amp. You can really shape the sound. I've been recording through a miniture VOX practice amp that I bought when I was a teenager - horrible tranny sound - but sounds okay with these pedals!
