I have neglected to post in "What my studio looks like" because frankly, I'm a tad embarrassed by all the gear lying around here. On the acoustic front, I have two acoustic/electrics for gigging and a 25 year-old handmade Yamaha when I need to hear the real deal.  I also have three nylon strings (one will be gone soon), a 3/4 size camping guitar, and a Guitalele.  The subtext here is I am an idiot, and I do not need another acoustic guitar.

So I'm in the local music store yesterday, and I grab a random used acoustic off the wall while chatting with the owner. It doesn't take long to figure out that I am really digging this guitar.  I look at the headstock and see "Washburn."  Not the biggest fan of their guitars.  Pretty much felt that much of their stuff was entry-level stuff, but this guitar is just ringing like a bell.  The price was a mere $145 (used), so I pulled the trigger.  I couldn't be happier with this thing.  I suspect it may record better than the Yamaha.  If any of you are in the market, I'm just in shock at the sound and playability. Looks nice as well.  Mine has a slightly darker hue.  It's a Washburn J12S-N

There's a guy who lives on my street he's older than me  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I know,I know your shaking your heads -but this guy has a Washington full bodied acoustic sitting in his house for years in a case -he cant xxing play it, he has been supposedly going for lessons, (since I had a full mop of black hair) he never did.
The tone from it is just lovely and the xxker uses it as a conversation piece
The Washington is a good guitar -enjoy it blooby
you seem to have got a bargain.

Hi Blooby one..........I don't own any Washburns but have tried plenty over the years....their current models include some very cost effective gems.
