Hi all, a final farewell to childhood. Maybe.  Roscoe

I was looking back in my colouring book
Houses, boats and planes.
Mum and Dad, the family pet, and speeding trains
And boats that floated on the sea

Chorus
But somebody stole my sunshine
It's not on any page I can see.
There were rainbows in the thunderclouds
But someone stole the sun from me.

I was reading my book of fairy tales
They seemed so dark to me.
In the deepest wood where there were no trails
No fairy Queen to rescue me

Chorus

I was watching from my window,
I was staring at the moon
It was coloured the deepest red
Just like a blood filled balloon

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

Greeny

A very slick and soothing soundscape. A mighty fine song, performance and production. The guitar layering is so nicely done; each part is beautiful and melodic. And as Hook says, the chorus is a belter.

Oh wow! Love this - melancholy and yet left me with a smile as I thought of my childhood. Beautiful guitar too! Thanks for sharing - downloaded.  ;D

Very somber and well done.  Contemplative and thoughtful lyric line.
