it's not often I do a completely acoustic version of a song (cuz I'm insecure without a bunch of supporting tracks. )
This was originally about meeting someone in a bar but turned into an attempt at resuscitating a stale marriage/relationship.

Those opening jazz chords are gorgeous, and man... some of those chord changes are breathtaking. Love the way you play and sing it with an emotional conviction that carries the song perfectly. Getting a Doctor Hook vibe from this in a way.

I really love it. The songwriting is beautiful, and it doesn't need ANY additions at all to the arrangement.
