Thanks! Yes, I back it up all the time now. Really was buggered as to why that ever happened. Did not make any sense to this guy. Maybe a one-time fluke.

 This happens to me quite often, and I've found it's usually after a long session of doing several takes, or a couple bounces, or auto punches.

 I've tried the optimizing and initializing but it always seems to happen again if I try mastering or bouncing after a long session of recording.

 Suprisingly, I found simply shutting the MicroBR off and then back on prior to mastering or bouncing seems to save me from this.
