Hi guys,

I'm a home musician from Ireland. Write my own stuff but also do covers every now and again. Like Peter Green, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix. Also like chill out music! :)

UPDATE - 11 Sept 2016...

Just to give a bit more info on where i come from musically....

Yeah so a home musican is pretty appropriate, but to give more detail... I used to play drums when I was a kid and played drums live in a few bands when I was about 18 or 19... a great experience but I gave up when I moved to London where I lived for the next 15 years or so and in fact did not do anything for quite a few years musically. I did dabble with guitar as it always interested me but only from time to time... a bedroom player.

I started becoming interested in Home recording roughly ten or twelve years ago and i guess this got me more interested / serious about making my own music. Suddenly being a bedroom player you could actually make some decent recordings.

So that's it really... I have never publically performed guitar for anybody and as I am getting older and also being of an anxious disposition I think this could well be out of the question for me now. But for the outlet that the internet and Home Recording has brought me I am eternally grateful.

Peace guys

 :) :)

Hi Mike,

Welcome aboard.  I checked out your jukebox and I really liked your sound on the two songs that are currently there.

A song a month is a good output. I wish that I could get more of mine done.

cheers,

Ian

You're right on-message here then.  This isn't one of those dub-step-drum-n-bass sites. Not usually anyway.

Hi Mike! Welcome to the community.

There are few rules, but you will find that we are generally a good bunch of people and the vibe is good.

It's always nice to see new members.

It's worth checking out the festivals, this time it's BassFest - Bass, drums/percussion and vocals only and SuggestFest where a member suggests a song for another member to record.

Also there are some guide to posting giving information about the files types and sizes, linking to SoundCloud etc. and what we accept by way of uploads.

Please join in. You'll get to know us soon enough!
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different
