BassFest (banner image missing)

got the bass out for the fest.

The calm
Before the storm
The tension
Hangs heavy
In the air
The dark
Undercurrent
In anticipation
Of fear
Of fear itself
Hangs heavy
In the air
Fear hangs heavy
In the air
The subtle movements
As all the pieces
Fall into their places
In preparation
Under orders
Only waiting
For the sound
Of the starting pistol
Fear hangs heavy
In the air

Nice work, James!

Great idea using multiple bass tracks. An ominous sound going on there. I like it.

Well done!

Excellent rhythmic basses ORH! They make a great "base"  ;D for your vocal. Well done! I'm gonna have to kick it in high gear to get mine done before I'm too intimidated by all the great bassfest tracks that are popping up.

Brooding and ominous! Your brilliant vocal delivery carries the menace beautifully. really cool. Haven't even thought about bassfest yet, but this just might inspire me :-)

Hi Jim, great work here, really nice rhythm bass playing that creates a dark, moody atmosphere. Excellent lyrics, full of foreboding and I like the way you go a bit John Lydon at about 2:20 ("in preparation..."). Very well recorded as well. I now have upgraded monitors and also hearing aids which reveal a lot of detail I previously couldn't hear and you have recorded the basses very well. No boominess but they haven't lost the bottom end. Great job!
