Speed Demon

This steel and glass, horseshoe-shaped walkway extends 70 feet (21 meters) over the lip of the Grand Canyon, almost one mile above the valley floor. Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin was the first person to step onto the Skywalk, which cost $30 million to build.

I wonder if anyone has attempted to parachute down from here.
If they did, good luck climbing out.

There is room for all of God's creatures.
Right next to my mashed potatoes.

How did that cost $30 million!!
He's not the messiah he's a very naughty boy!

Speed Demon

It cost $30,000,000 because it was built by the same company that manufactured the $600.00 butt kit they sold to the US Air Force.

I can see why it was so expensive. It had a moving part. The top came off to make it easier to empty.

Hey, it looks like it could be used as a take off ramp for a rocket powered motorbike!  I wonder if any one has thought of that yet?
