Drop Dead Legs
Van Halen Cover for many-handed pianist

Here's a cover of the Van Halen song Drop Dead Legs, transcribed for piano (albeit played by a pianist with at least three or four hands).

It kind of follows on from my earlier hasty assertion that any song can be played in any style.  Which is clearly bollocks, but may have some truth in some cases.

I've known how to play this song on guitar since the mid-eighties when I used the 1984 album to teach myself EVH guitaring.  (Knowing how to play it isn't the same as being able to play it on guitar, I can sort of fumble my way through).

But I used that knowlege to have some fun on the GB, adding in some of my own creativity into the arrangement.

And actually I'm really pleased with how it turned out, fair play.  Hope you enjoy.

Of course you can play any song in any style - and this is excellent. Great playing, really smooth and right on the button, effortless. Well done.
