anither strange yin

there's no flies in my house
they've all gone
it's not warm
enough
to support them
just some scant remains
on the window sill
where they danced
their last dance
on their backs
how we laughed
till they stopped
or they flopped
to the floor...................
all the birds outside my window
all look in
lick their beaks
with their tongues
peck the glass until it cracks
then a crash
a crescendo
feathers dust and blood lust
on our backs
how we laughed
till they stopped
or they flopped
to the floor...................

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

So very strange and sort of disturbing :D. At times the uke sounds like the buzz from an annoying fly.

Nice touch between music and lyric! I love the feel and "description"! Very good LITLR song, again!

Oh I liked it - thought the vocal tone was fab and I like the combo of the uke and the interesting lyrics. I kind of wanted another section to it though.

Oh well ........

djbride

Strangely hypnotic, the constant drone of the uke gives a strong contrast
with the vocal melody, and it works well.

Wonderful. It shouldn't be possible to make songs this hypnotic with just a uke and a voice. But that's talent for ya!
