Here's a groovy number for all you pop pickers out there, Secret Sauce.

Recorded and mastered on the BR80. The vocals were recorded with the internal mic's but I can't figure out how to record a straight sound, without a preset of some sorts. So I did them with the least altering vocal preset I could find.

Man, I wanted that to be longer!  Nice feel and groove.

Yeah, I think that as far as direct with no effects, you choose a User Patch which is blank (can be altered or not however you want if you so decide).  This is what I did for a mic'd guitar track and it worked out.  If that is what you're asking about.

It should be a bit longer (about 2x), but it was built around a riff that I'd jotted down about 3am last night and it simply ran out. I haven't got my head round all the features of the BR yet and punching in some extra riffage requires reading the manual, which means less fun playing and recording.

Still, when the record deal comes along () I'll redo it and this version will be on the much later 'early days' b-sides release. Ey, what an imagination.  

Thanks for the tip, a clean signal is just what I'm after so will have a go with an 'empty' patch.

Excellent tune man, really grooves along.  I kind of like the vocals like this, works with with the heavy riffage tones there.
