What oldrottenhead said is right. The samplers are meant to be samples of the finished recordings our members made in the year of the sampler. So you should submit the 2008 version for the 2008 sampler. If you want to do a remix, then I think oldrottenhead's idea of re-doing the song from scratch for 2013 is best. Then you can submit that for the 2013 jukebox (in January) if you like.

I don't think you've submitted anything for any of the samplers yet, have you? Here's the topic where you can make your submissions:
