All done in just over half an hour when I should've been doing something else.

Just over half an hour very well spent.  Don't believe you could've done all that in that time, but nevermind.

Well, more like about 43 minutes I reckon. 3 minute song. 3 guitars, bass and lead guitar about 15 minutes. Vocals about another 15 minutes and less than 15 minutes to mix and master. I only do shit fast when I'm feeling guilty about the fact that I'm supposed to be doing something else, like tidying up the place or applying for non-existent jobs. The evil Mrs henwrench has already chewed my balls off so many times that soon she'll be chewing off my acorn-like penis.

Cool song! The lyrics were a bit disturbing though, as expected. :)

43 minutes, eh? I couldn't do that. I usually spend a half-hour or more just getting set up and fiddling with the effects to find a sound that I like. Then I spend at least another half-hour or so checking out the BR's drum patterns and building an arrangement, unless I've already created a drum track in Hydrogen or something similar, which takes at least as long and then has to be imported to the BR. And I'm rarely satisfied with the first take of most of my tracks, so I end up doing multiple takes of some tracks. So my recordings generally take several days or weeks to complete. I could never record a song of this quality in under an hour!

A completed song in under an hour, eh? You're a true SongCrafter.  :)
