So - this was supposed to be the suggestfest for Haylie - and she said, you play it. Then Mazz wanted to sing it - sorry Haylie. Anyway - haven't hardly recorded of late - work, busy, too hot, no air con etc. So this is quite a bit rusty, but gets me and Mazz back in the swing of things. Nice to be recording again, however the heat has been horrible as 'the studio' seems to trap the heat. Hey ho - song with added sweat!

Not that happy with the sound. Some funny phasing effect double tracking the guitar - sounds almost hollow. Will re-record these tomorrow me thinks.

Regardless of the effect snafu it's awesome. Mazz has such a killer voice... Great stuff!!! LOVE IT.

Damn, if that's rusty then I need another round with the wire brush...sounds tight as a snare drum to me.

Don't know the original, but this is a fine & fun cover. Smooth playing & production and great vocals from Mazz. Happy sound!

I didn't catch v1 but I'm sure it was just as good! Great job with this to both of you. Loved the vocals, spot on and they sound great! And the solo work was something I could do only in my dreams.

Ok this has made me throw one in for suggest fest.... I would like to hear Mazz and Bruno do Sheryl Crow "Every Day is A Winding Road".... For some reason Mazz's voice sounds like a perfect fit for anything Sheryl Crow...

I also have a good story to tell about Sheryl Crow... My father and I used to service pay telephones in Missouri when I was a youngster. One day we met a young lady at a truck stop... It was Sheryl Crow before her fame... She was headed to LA where she told us she was going to try to become a famous singer/ songwriter... A few years later after she released "Tuesday Night Music Club" with the hit "All I Wanna To Do"... We realized it was her... If only we had took some pictures or got an autograph. It was a brief conversation, but it was a good one that I'll never forget. She was so energetic and full of good hope... We wished her well and went about our business... I dig her music big time and think about that moment in time quite often. My brush with celebrity.
