Great song, Farrell. And great lyrics. I love the choir section, and the energy of the lead vocal on top of it.

Yeah - excellent song Farrell. For me the song really goes stella with the harmonies, it hits you between the eyes. As you are mulling the construction of the song, I do wonder if the harmonies should be there earlier??? But then you don't get that bam when they come in..... hmm, never easy to decide???? The acoustic sounds great, excellent tune.

Update 7-31-13: This started as an acoustic ballad with vocals but it's a fully produced song now with acoustic guitar, vocals, Duduk, Rhodes piano, bass, drums and Nashville tuned guitar. The production is quite a bit different than when it started.

Quote from: Jarle on July 18, 2013, 02:57:52 PMThis is powerful stuff. I can't wait to hear what you come up with on the full production. The choir is great.

I'm not disappointed. I love it. The outro leaves me wanting more. I'll have to go back for another listen.

Oh you've done a great job with it and obviously knew exactly where you were going. I loved everything about it apart from the very last bars - it seemed like they were bolted on just because you can, even though you were calling back to the intro. I'm going to have another listen.

Thanks Jarle, Haylie, and Speed Demon!

Gene - this is the final version...well with the exception of getting it mastered. I'll update it out once that happens.
