I saw Simple Minds in Manchester Apolo in around 1985, just when they were doing Waterfront and stuff.  Wasn't really my thing at the time (I'd agreed with my mate that I'd go to this gig if he'd see SPK in the Hacienda with me) but was a good gig.

This is really good, beautifully put togher and great vocal performance.  Well done that man. And great suggestion from Jim too.
