...or partial cover at least.  No vocals still.

An attempt to use GarageBand to make a grungy sounding rock / guitar track rather than something more orchestral.

Now I'm getting the hang of GB, I actually like a lot of the work-flow.  This was about 4 hours of programming.

I love the drum sound and the drum programming in GB, I may use that when I'm doing regular tracks with real instruments (ah, those were the days).

If anyone wants to have a pop at the vocal, please feel free.  I did try but I'm not happy with the mic on the iPhone for this, unless I'm doing it wrong.  Anyway it's actually a really difficult vocal for someone of my not considerable talents.

Oh this is just fabulous - it's slightly too low for me, otherwise I'd give Jilted Joan a go :)

Agree with you... :) I had this on C cassette and I didn't know whose tune this is. After many, many years I found out that it was Jilted John. "Gordon is a moron.." :)  Nice work on this tune, Nick!

I like it, guitars sound great to me and overall it matches up to the original really well.

Not volunteering myself, but would love to hear someone have a crack at this.

That would have been awesome. What name would you have had for the female Gordon?  Laura maybe?

No - Jilted Joan's girlfriend goes off with Gordon - "he's more of a man than you'll ever be" - you're damn right there!

Clever. Didn't see that coming.
