That's our new song! Actually, our first one! After a lot of work and some annoying "Drive Busy!" messages, we finally got it done! The song is called Infinite Darkness, Flames of Sun.

Like the Mortal Love cover I posted here some weeks ago, everything was recorded with the MicroBR, Gt 10 for guitars and Shure SM 57 foi vocals.

There should be a violin solo between 3:30 to 3:44, but the violinist couldn't record it... well, whatever...

Make your comments! ;)

Thank you for the comment! We gave our best on this one, but it can surely improve!

We are arranging another song and very soon start to record it again. We'll post here!

Cheers!

Fantastic! Really, really good, well done. Very impressive all round. A violin solo would be great, suggest you get that on as soon as you can. That would really give you an edge.

Some very minor comments:

- The "growly" vocals sound a bit "stilted". Could you put an effect on them to make them sound a bit different to the other vocals?

- I felt the female vox sounded a bit thin, especially when they went high at the end of the song. I'd be tempted to thicken the eq a bit. I've taken to doing that after recording when bouncing to other tracks. It's not the voice btw, she has a fantastic singing voice, it's just the mix.

But those are just minor niggles. You guys are GOOD!

Cheers,

Nigel

Speechless that the tune was done on a BR.

Kudos for both the recording and for flying the flag for prog-rock.
