A slightly different sound to the vocal for you, is this experimenting with the recorder?

yea, I stumbled on a cool phaser effect on the zoom h4n. when I gave up & started over on the mbr I still wanted that phaser sound on the live take. I thought I'd get rid of some of the muddiness by adding the harmony vocal but that didn't really help. I do dig using the guitar effects on my live takes though.
