putting a delay over my acoustic/vocals mix LIVE...

Having had the Boss BR-80 micro for about a year... I have fallen in love with the ping pong delay... I want one for live... and i want it all over my acoustic and vocals together as one...

Any one know of anything suitable for the job?... Presumably it would need two inputs, unless I get a cheap mixer and pre-mix it into the effects then send that to the engineer.... Hmm, thinking I would need a stereo output sent to the engineer for the ping pong to work... There must be something out there that will do the job...

I often time it to a triplet of the tempo, absolutely love it!

i am not sure exactly what you mean, but when i record live on my older microbr, with just one onboard mic as opposed to the two on the 80. i arm two tracks to record to and use the fornylon mic setting but turn on tap delay and it gives a faux stereo effect. does that make sense?

I dig the delayed vocals also. I'm sure there is some pedal but it would have to be stereo I think!
Delay on!

Hey Daniel-  If your looking for an effects unit to use on your vocals when playing live, you might check "MusiciansFriend.com"

Long ago when I was playing out on the cheap, I used guitar pedals on my vox.   Actually worked....  at least well enough for the dives I was playing !! :P

There might also be some small mixers with buildt in effects that could have stereo delay.

If you like the delay in your BR you could try and buy a cheap mixer, feed it into your BR, and give the PA guy a stereo cable coming out of it.

Behringer has several cheap models, most are even stereo. Check this one, for example http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UB802.aspx

I have a bigger one, a 12 inputs stereo mixer from them, and it's awesome.

I use a Digitech Studio 400 effects processor. A rack-mounted unit.
Four lines in and four lines out, both hi Z and lo Z.
It is possible to assign up to six separate effects on each send, independent of the others.
