The skies are pretty clear hear in the California horizons this time of the year. I'll see if I can get some shots on that humungous man in the moon and post them up. I'm looking forward to checking out the biggest moon ever in our life times!

Just had a look here in Melbourne.   The moon is not a lot bigger but it is a lot brighter.

i saw it between the clouds from the maid on the loch on loch lomond last night, was awfy bright but not very big.
