Thanks Burtog. I haven't listened to it through earphones as I only have £20 Numark ones,which are not the best for monitoring  music with. I'm never happy with the bass on my stuff as I'm not sure which sort of compression to use. All my bass-lines always sounds a bit muddy to my ears.
