uploaded new mp3 6/13/13 hopefully this one works.
This has always been one of my favorite tunes. I opened up the windows in my sun room and there was the perfect backdrop for the tune. A symphony of nature if you will. My youngest is helping me out with the "you got it" part.
Done this evening litlr but I recorded a 2nd nature track while listening back.

Yeah, I noticed that too and I've been in touch with Hook about it. We're trying to work out what causes it and will replace the MP3 when we do. I do know that the MP3 itself is fine. It plays perfectly in the HTML5 player or if you download it and play it locally on your computer. So it must be some compatibility issue with the Flash player. It's happened with Hook's songs a couple of times in the past but I haven't noticed it with anyone else's. He told me he uses Switch to create his MP3. If anyone else is using Switch, maybe you could tell us what settings you use; preferably in a PM so we don't distract from Hook's song post. The MP3 above is in Joint Stereo. I never use that so I'm not sure if it's a factor.

Forgot to say, I listened to it locally on my computer and it's a great cover! I'm glad someone finally did a Talking Heads cover for VarietyFest 2. I've always liked that band.

Not sure what happened with the last mp3 & I apologize for leaving a corrupted file up for so long. I exported this right off the mbr as an mp3 and it seems  to work fine. I've always used the same process, record/mix/master on the mbr. Export with the wav converter & put into audacity. Trim the edges, leveller, normalize if needed (not need often), do any fade ins or outs then expoort as a wav. I use switch to convert to mp3 and post. Not sure if it was just a bad conversion...oh well, try this one on for size.
Thanks for the nice comments!
Rock on!

I got it eventually, I dont know the original but really like your version, soothing tune with a peaceful backdrop of the crickets.
Sounds like Greece on holiday nights out with that backdrop!
