This is to RTT's drum track that I discovered recently https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=10839.0 , great track brother!!!!! For those that don't know Tampaska is my project that always begin with RTT's drums & then I write tunes to fit those drum tracks, I find it very challenging to write to already decided changes and fills. The music was all done in the car using my new uke (epiphone les paul), the week before last. I wrote and recorded the vocals just this afternoon.
1- amazing RTT drum track (stereo)
1- clean uke
1 chorus uke
1 distorted/phaser uke (stereo)
1- really f'd up uke (stereo)
1- stand up bass (TJ)
1- vocal (stereo)
Vaguely Specific"

I can almost see you clearly
through the frosted glass
Now I'm not sure that I
Really want to see you clearly

         Vaguely specific
         Intimately dis-attached
         Vaguely specific
Turn left by the house with the roof

I'm sure there's more to everything you've said
The meaning in-between the lines escapes me every time
I wish that I could believe that there were more
Than maybe just several shades of grey

         Vaguely specific
         Positively disappointed
         Vaguely specific
There's something more than what we have
& what we have is something more
         Vaguely specific
Just past the thing before the tree

I can almost see you clearly
through the frosted glass
Now I'm not sure that I
Really want to see you clearly

Right on Hook... yes ... yes... yes... This is fantabulous. I honestly thought you had picked up on all my drum tracks... totally forgot about that one. At any rate... yes I tried a couple of different tunes the same way. For me it was probably a little easier since I knew where the fills were comming, but it's always great to see how these tracks evolve into something. It's also very rewarding.... You've got it mastered my friend. Tampaska lives... I can't wait to get back on my drums for sure!!! Till then... Rock on my friend. Long live songcrafters.

Really grows as it goes on.........like a slightly more boozy and seedy version of a Michael Buble kind of thing......crooner psych rock.  Very cool.

Oh Man, this track buzzes with magic. This is a great mix of styles and music, and comes out smelling of roses and then some. Wonderful, put a smile on my face.

I'll third that!

It blossoms and builds so nicely! Cool!

Put me in as a fourth. :)

Very well put-together, right down to the abrupt ending. And quite a challenge to build a song to a drum track (and an excellent one, btw). Always dig what you do with ukes in your songs - the new Epi sounds great!
