New cover. Fad Gadget was my inspiration as a lad. He was the first 'alternative' music I heard, then it was on to John Peel and the rest is history. Frank Tovey (his original name) has been dead about ten years now, this is my homage to him. Hope you like it.

Cheers orh, I half expected cries of 'WHO?' when I posted! Always good to find a fellow fan. He was my first gig, Sheffield, Feb28 1984, I was 15. Thats the only gig date I know! Never met him, but I feel if he were around today, I wouldve.

This is bloody fantastic. I love songs with those dark, descending chords. As ORH says, there's a dash of 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' in here. But I think it was a late 70's Indie style, as it's also SO close to 'Is Vic There' by Department S. I also heard a little guitar melody that early Adam and the Ants used on 'Killer in the Home', later adapted (and stolen) for the main riff in my song 'The Octopus' and I.

Anyway, I digress... this is wonderful. Love the style and the whole performance. Killer.

This is brilliant ,the song reminds me of Edwin Collins for some reason, think its the vocal delivery, anyway it's a killer track, well done.
