Happy Monday again!

Written on piano (REAL piano!), and largely performed on one. You'll have to forgive my chimp-like playing  :D

There's also an extra keyboard / organ part, bass, and some Les Paul.

I was going for an old-fashioned vibe, so there's an added vinyl record sound fx, and no sign of any digital / virtual instruments.

Cheers  :)

This has a great bluesy chorus Tim! I wish my piano skills were as good as yours...I don't hear any chimp like playing at all. The lyric, the instrumentation, the performances, melody, and the mix make this one hell of a catchy number!

You should use more piano in your recordings - fantastic playing!! Brilliant blues guitar additions. Enjoyable listening, again!

Great Greeny Monday - subject matter sounds similar to my weekend! :)

I love the sound of a real piano (you recorded it with the MBR mic?), and it's very tastefully played. The guitar leads make a nice counterpoint to the piano backing.

Given this a few listens....the "old school" piano sounds great and those fast little runs during the intro and between each verse are so hooky, and a real focal point of the song.

Your ability to create another beautiful melody is evident again, and as much as I have enjoyed the layered textures of the Thumbjam additions in your song of late, this was a really cool change of direction.
