I don't do too many covers these days, but heard a different version of this recently and thought I'd do my own take on it.

Can't do it like the wonderful, moody original, so went for something a bit different. I did the synth, electric piano and rhythms in Garageband, then added two layers of twangy Fender Tele and Vox.

I like it and I also like the fact it is very different to the original. Its a great tune.
I've listened to this track a bit recently myself, since I bought the Jazzmaster been learning tunes using a tremelo.

I have the original album on vinyl somewhere it's quality!

I can't listen to this now, but the thought of you covering this already makes me a bit moist with excitement.
I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Tricky song to sing with that falsetto bit in the chorus. You've done a great job though. Great version. Smooth.

You know I'm a fan of your originals, but it's nice to see you dip your toe into covers now and again.  You have certainly put your stamp on it.  It sounds like a devil of a song to sing in spots due to its low beginning and higher parts that come later.
