New toys for Hook

Just got this uke

I think it's the same one Greeny & Henny have. I needed something cheap with a pickup in it for my summer shows, not that great acoustically but pretty cool to be able to use the effects again. I'm very happy with it so far. I have a few projects in the works, hopefully post something next week. Now I only need a Tenor uke to round out my collection.
I also got this

I switch from mostly classroom performances during the school year (acoustic) to larger audiences and some stages during the summer and my AKG sport finally crapped out on me last December after 5 years.I've been told that this Electro Voice R300 sounds great and rivals if not outshines the similarly priced Sure & Samson models. Won't actually be using it until June but might find the time to set it up next week. I'm moving next Friday and it looks like I'll be able to set up all my stuff and hang my instruments again, good times!

Next up a zoom R16 or maybe a br1600 (one is on craigslist right now for $400) to replace my br900 that I just sold for next to nothing

but can't even think about that till after the summer.
