Hi Kenny, I've not played in front of anyone for about 15 years (anxiety problems). I used to occasionally do a couple of songs at The Halt Bar on Woodlands Rd on their open mike  Saturdays but I'd have to be pissed and I played like a twat and forgot all the lyrics

Oh this is gorgeous Charley. As far as performing goes, you just have to keep at it (if that's what you want to do) and push through the pain barrier, take every chance you can to perform and accept that it's not always going to be perfect until you get comfortable doing it. (I'm sure it wasn't nearly as bad as you thought it was.)

Anxiety is a terrible cross to bear,IVe seen it too many times turning a great musician into jelly,that's the good thing about this site ,you can play away until your hearts content ,if know one likes it,they don't comment,you'll never get bottled off lol

I too do not enjoy playing before a live audience.  Don't see any reason to force it.

I agree this is a great thing about this Community website.  You get to play in your studio, and get feedback too, not to mention collaborations.  Fun, fun, fun.
