Interestingly - tried this on MacOS 10.6.8 - and Firefox 21 - and it doesn't even present HTML5 player - goes straight to flash (and works) - which is different to Safari.

That's because Firefox for Mac doesn't yet support MP3 in HTML5 audio. The player detects this and shows the Flash player instead. The Flash player still works just fine on computers that have Adobe Flash installed. Flash is not available for iOS, though it's still available for OS X. If and when a new version of Firefox for Mac is released that supports MP3 in HTML5 audio, then the HTML5 player will be presented. I'm in the same boat with Linux. Firefox 21 for Linux does not support MP3 in HTML5 audio, so I get the old Flash player, which works just fine. When a new version of Firefox for Linux is released that supports MP3 in HTML5 audio, then I'll see the HTML5 player (and, hopefully, it will work). Firefox 21 only supports MP3 in HTML5 audio for Windows 7 and 8. Users of XP, Vista, Linux and Mac will have to wait for version 22 or 23. Until then, we'll have to use the Flash player.

Safari 5 and above supports MP3 in HTML5 audio, so the HTML5 player is presented automatically.

I just invested in an android tablet and everything looking good. however in some song s there is no player visible. can't see hay lies Paul Weller song.   Not sure if posted off site, but songs I have posted here

Can't see it, using dolphin browser will try Firefox

works in Firefox tho had to add sound cloud plug in that option was not available in dolphin

I never could just click on Play and hear a song while using my iPod. Now it works with the new player.
If you're using IOS 6.1 or greater, it should work for you.
