Thank you

Hi and thank you for the kind comments on my last song, even I quite like it. I would however like to thank you all for your kind thoughts and wishes on my impending redundacy from full time employment which would appear to be made final on the 17th of June. I am very lucky being 64 years old and quite comfortable (not rich by any means) but comfortable. There are many in a far worse position than me, a lot younger with families that will find the next few months testing on their resolve. I think by now I can call you friends, who sometimes cosy up or sometimes have harsh words but at the end of the day are still there, I'm glad you're still there...... Willie.

Hey Willie.
You are absolutely right in what you say - still difficult nether the less. This is an interesting place, with a common bond of interest and music. Part of me says look at this as an opportunity to do what you really want. Be comfortable, be healthy and be happy. I wish what ever is next for you is what you desire.

Rock on Brother.

Hi Willie. I'm not exactly sure what "redundacy from full time employment" means but I'm assuming it means early retirement or being let go from your job. Either way I wish you well because both can be a godsend or a detriment. It sounds like you are going to do well with this change. Good for you!

Hi Willie

Being comfortable is about all you could possibly want.  As long as you are happy and have the means for staying that way for a long time to come.  If so, then I envy your new freedom.. You have an opportunity to try out new things or spend time doing things you couldn't before.  I hope the transition is a smooth one.  These days, there are lots of good ways to stay in touch with old colleagues.  I often find that people move on from workplace friends fairly quickly anyway, especially if they are filling their lives with new pursuits.  I'm sure that life will still be good and you will enjoy it even more now that you can please yourself  EVERY DAY!!!!!

best regards,

Ian
