Going' Home (theme of the Local Hero) - Alfstone covers M.Knopfler

...and here is my version of "Going' Home".

That movie has meant something special in my life...me and my wife were just back home from our honeymoon in Scotland, and one evening on the TV there was this "Local Hero" that immediately brought to our mind some of the wonderful places we had just seen.

...and of course "this" tune...splendid...

So, when this "VarietyFest 2" was announced, I had already in my mind the tune I'd covered!  

Having the original score, I have "built" the piano backing part with BIAB.

The guitar is my new baby, an American Deluxe maple neck "Ash" Strat, this one:

passing - using the Apogee  Jam - through one of the patches of the iPad "JamUp" app for guitar.

From the iPad to the BR-600, and as usual the final mix was on my PC with Adobe Audition CS6 and Izotope Ozone 5
