Sometimes I have the whole thing all mapped out, but more usually this is how it goes for me also. Sometimes I have a vague idea, sometimes a rough idea of a chord change, but then once I start to record stuff, there is is, I listen back and it sounds good, and then this suggests the next thing to put on, and on it goes.  When I am done I am always amazed at what came out.  Creativity and inspiration I guess, it is very cool when the conditions are right to let it happen.  You have a lot of creativity and inspiration in my opinion.

I agree with everyone else.  Not many could put together the sounds you do. with all the backgrounds.  It would be very challenging.  You are so good at it.  Hey I live by the train tracks maybe you could do something with that.

It's a pity that Tom hasn't posted his songs anymore. I downloaded his jukebox times ago and he has written brilliant songs. Altough, many of them are a bit "song sketches"; short and not so well recorded. There's several really beautiful and unique tunes.
