Never thought I would see one of these crop up in my town, but a Danelectro '63 baritone reissue popped up on Craigslist in like-new condition (and on the cheap).  Currently tuned to a low-B.  I couldn't resist.  I guess I have to figure out a suitable recording project now.

Nice one Blooby. I had one but not a baritone model. Very nice looking and unusual sounding guitar. Ultra light, a head turner for sure. I used mine on several gigs, two of which were with my space rock band. Far out. I changed the strings and tuned it to Nashville tuning which was ultra weird and it sounded like a harp/ banjo/ mandolin.

I found the two pickups both together gave it it's best tone, the bridge pick up is very thin sounding, a little like a Tele but thinner. Enjoy your Dano.
Sweet young thing aint sweet no more.

Always wanted a Dano. Yours looks lush, proper character. Enjoy her, dude, enjoy

What scale length is that to get down to low B?  That's a full five semitones down on normal tuning.

You know me so well.

I must say this thing is cool.  It's got most of the rumble of a bass, but it's still got the definition of a guitar.  I drenched it in reverb and played through some swampy tremolo for an hour or so last night.  Fun.
