The Smiths were a pretty important group for me all through high school. I really identified with Morrissey's  lyrics and Johnny Marrs songwriting blew me away. They way he layered sounds to achieve such a full sound yet kept it all light and fluffy, I know both of them seeped into me and continue to come out so many years later. This is live from Nissan Sentra Studios using the new stereo mic and the vocal delay setting on the mbr.

Not sure why, It played fine earlier. I checked the mp3 and it seems to be fine. I uploaded the track again but it is stuttering. I have to go to work now, perhaps 64 can check it out later. Sorry for now!

Yeah, me too, very much so.  Actually in my avatar pic, that's me being into the Smiths in Salford university in the mid 80's.

Great version of this deciptively simple song.  By which I mean it's not really that simple at all.  Handled with love though.  Nice one.

Nice cover - enjoyed it.  I've been listening to the Smiths in the car to and from work all week. One of my favourite bands and first choice for me in Varietyfest.  Just trying to find one I can play !
