Well played and sung!  A generous amount of ear candy in there from the guitar and vocal...all that attention to detail.  You guys just keep getting better and better.

Blooby, the reverb setting usually heard on your recordings is the best I've heard outta any BR. Reason enough to want a 1600...

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Whoa that was amazing. Lurker vocals are the best here and i agree with Hooper on the reverb. Guitar sounds too good here. Well it`s the playing that makes it good of course. The backwards effect in the end is awesome!!

Thanks.  Part of the vocal reverb is coming from a Boss vocal processor thingy.  We don't use it all the time, but it was definitely used on this last batch of songs.

Quote from: Hilary on April 22, 2013, 03:32:50 AMHow I'd love to see you gig

We are having difficulty finding new gigs these days.  I have dropped off about ten demo CD's to places who say they are actively hiring and then nothing.  Two places have said they were going to email us the next day to schedule us and then nothing.  Gentle reminders for them...nothing.  A new venue opened up less than a mile from my house.  I was in there having a beer one day (about a week after dropping off a CD), and the bar manager said, "I can't believe how dead it is in here.  I have to get some live music."  I informed her about us, about the CD we dropped off.  She responded by saying our music was what she is looking for and then...and then...nothing.  A bit bewildering at times. Certainly affects your confidence.  Having said that, the venues we have played asked us back, so I am also thankful of our good fortune.

Thank you, all, for your kind words.

Peace.

Not relating to music, but i`m finding this to be a common happening in the business world for me.
It`s either they are very absent minded, ignorant, or don`t know how to say no. It sure is a different
world spinning these days.

Hope you get gigs. I wanna do a U.S trip one day. I`d come see you for sure!!

missed this first time round - I love this song - the only cover that Talking heads released.

You have the vibe right down to the very essence of this song. Fab vocals and really impressive, expressive guitar work.

The band I play with does the commitments version of this, but I have always preferred the Talking Heads version. This is raw and undeniably brilliant.

My new favourite version.

Bravo mes amis.
