Thoughts by LESTG and Kenny Mac

First it was a great pleasure doing this with Kenny. He took a song that has turned into one of my favorites and wrote killer lyrics to it and awesome vox. He added some piano and keys and I dropped in some different guitars.

Would have loved to have the wav files so I could mix this better. Every time I would try to bring Kenny's voice up, I would lose other parts.

I went for the "BIG" sound here.

Oh yeah, this is great. But you're right it could do with a better mix.

1st of all it was a pleasure to work with greg on this,when I finished my shift late last night I listened to the track and felt the original mix I sent him got lost in the changeover after he added his excellent guitar runs so I asked him to send me the guitar runs and I re done it today,the atmoshphere of the song and performance feel like they are back.

Oh yes that"s 1000% better!  I just kept loosing in the mix when I would try to bring you vocals out. Then again I could be messing it up lol. Still learning this sound stuff and DAW.

Working in DAW is like going from a polaroid instant camera to a SLR camera lol.

Kenny downloaded yours and replaced mine with it.at the top.

Wow!  Nice job guys.  I couldn't get the second mix to go past 10 seconds but the first mix sound really good to me.  The vocals reminded me a lot of David Bowie.
