Not been to productive in new songs recently and this is one that was written in its basic form last year.

Had visions of a "choir" on this one, so last weekend we assembled a group of family and friends in a hall, placed them around my Micro BR and got them to sing the choruses and outro verses.

Added a few more touches after this, and finally finished it off last night.

All recorded on the Micro BR as usual, with the piano parts being played on the Garageband on the IPad which was lined into the BR

Had to reduce the file size slightly to fit it on here.

I love this. :)

Catchy rhythms and the bass fits right into the pocket. Great mix of acoustic and fuzz guitars too, and the vocals are of course stunning, from Sasha right to the choir. Crisp recording and and mixing add a cherry on the top.

Such fine attention paid to all the little details...one of your best!

Excellent! The choir was a great idea and works really well in this. Songwriting and performance are fabulous.

A suggestion for the next time you use GarageBand:  instead of plugging the iPad into the BR, just export the tracks from GarageBand in AIFF format. Then use BR Wave Converter to import the tracks to the BR. It works with AIFF files just as well as it does with WAV files. No conversion is necessary. To export your song from Garageband, select Share -> Export Song to Disk. Make sure "Compress" is unchecked then click OK. This will save your song as an AIFF file. If you want individual tracks instead, solo the desired track before exporting.

Sounds like an angel to me.................wonderful, just wonderful.  I love this song.  This should be on all the radio stations of the world.  I can't believe how good this sounds for only using the puny little mBR.  You got the whole sound field filled to perfection.  I love the electric that comes in at the end, that really lifts it for me to new heights.  You got a 100% hit on your hands with this one.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
