Hi

Here's my karaoke style version of You Send Me.  Picture me down at the footy club with a pint in one hand and a mic in the other.

I always loved this song.  I hope its still alive after this.   :D

cheers,

Ian

Fabulous! I've always loved this song too and this is an excellent cover of it. I like how you got in all those "whoa oh oh oh oh" bits and backing vocals like Sam Cooke. Great job.

Love this song! I knew it from Aretha Franklin, and with this festival I even considered covering it... for 1 minute... the singing is amazingly difficult but you did it "excellently" well!

Well done!

Haylie - We would to hear your version! Please don't drop it!

That's what I like about these fests. You hear songs you haven't heard in a long time. I think I haven't heard this since I was a kid but remember it as it was yesterday. Probably because you nailed the vocals perfectly.
Nice clean sounding recording too

I'd love to hear your version.

I remember the Rita Coolidge version from the 70s.  And the Rod Stewart version.  There's room for more  :D

cheers,

Ian

Really great vocal performance !

I've got the pitch correction patch turned up to the max.  I nearly used the gender change setting for some backing vocals but left it off because it wasn't "authentic" enough.  I hope no-one ever asks me to sing this "live" - I'll be exposed as the fraud that I am   ;D
