dedicated to two fine examples of the human race, both scottish.

yesterday i was saddened to hear the news of the passing of "Big George" Watt http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/shock-as-scots-blues-star-big-george-is-found-dead-120329n.20697540 i saw george perform many times over the years, a wonderful performer who never failed to move me.

i had only just heard about big george, when moments later, the news came through about Iain Banks http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-22021298 i have read everything iain has written since i picked up the wasp factory, what seems like a lifetime ago. to say he is my favourite author is an understatement,  both men make me proud to be both scottish and human.

chunk's original instrumental post can be heard here. https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=18114.0

Hi Bluesberry, It's real drum samples programed using FL Studio and some percussion. Some real nice heart felt vocal on this from James.- the most prolific songwriter I have ever come across-  Cheers James,

Thanks for the comments. I just put it up to see who wanted to run with it. James put the fairy dust on it and turned a basic groove into a song.

This sooo good! ...warm and damn groovy...dancing and remembering. Celebrate the lives of those that that are gone but never forgotten.

Excellent! Can't say I've ever heard of Big George, but I'm still reading Mr. Banks' Culture series (currently halfway through #5 - Inversions).

Nice sentiment jim,it seems lately you've had the misfortune to find inspiration through news like this.
I know Big George was a big part of the local music scene here and beyond, another fine talent wiped away.
As always chunk paints a fine musical landscape to dive into,a good collab here with a fine poetic message.
well done guys.
