does that mean they (Zep) were dissapointing live?
i was fortunate enough to be at The Vetch Field in 1976 (i think)
The Who were top of the line up.
but for me on that day SAHB were AWESOME tight as a ducks....
but thats the day i heard H.T. god (capital G )
Outlaws were on the bill too. There will always be Green Grass and High Tides. He (H.T,) was and still is THE MASTER of The Fender Tele. Henry Paul ain't too bad too.
Jacksonvill , Flodida is the music capitol of the planet.
its special to me.

They were pretty good, but seeing Zep in the late eighties just made me wish I'd seen them in their proper prime. And with John Bonham of course. It wasn't a full gig either - it was a Robert Plant solo show, and Jimmy turned up to do 3 or 4 songs with him. I felt lucky to see even that, but Jimmy Page didn't look good (or particuarly well) at the time.

Would have loved to have seen the Who - whilst Moony was still alive! I live 2 mins from Pete Townsend's house - maybe I should ask him for a jam, lol. My gf did get him to sign a book for me though.
