No songs are sacred if you can make a decent job of them. If you can play it - and play it well - nobody should be complaining. The problem with Zep is that Page and Plant are so unique, it's hard to replicate them. I saw them live in 1988, and they even found it quite hard to replicate themselves...  :D

does that mean they (Zep) were dissapointing live?
i was fortunate enough to be at The Vetch Field in 1976 (i think)
The Who were top of the line up.
but for me on that day SAHB were AWESOME tight as a ducks....
but thats the day i heard H.T. god (capital G )
Outlaws were on the bill too. There will always be Green Grass and High Tides. He (H.T,) was and still is THE MASTER of The Fender Tele. Henry Paul ain't too bad too.
