This song was a challenge for me. lol However I was thankful for it! First, was done in C Maj but starts out with an F intro. But, as I'm studying modes, this has helped a lot. I knew that Ionian is the major scale and then discovered then right below it is phrygian and dorian above it and aeolian above that. Now I know some land marks just have to learn some licks.

Second, I started out by trying to match up the metronome. Wasn't happening. lol I had to revert back to something I haven't done in many many years. I played the drums on my midi controller. That sure isn't like setting behind a kit. Was trying to figure out the little nuances in the time so I hope the drums are ok. May be loud.

Finally, matching your voice and the track with an acceptable level of reverb was a little task. But this is great learning for me.

Wow this turned out to be a helluva Collab... I think the vox could stand a little more juice... They are great just need a little volume to my ears. Great job all round.

Oh this is fabulous and what a stunning song. I agree with Tod, I think the vox could come up a bit in the mix but it's very lovely.
